Volunteers

Our members come from all walks of life and there's a job for almost everyone at your local unit, whether it's crewing an offshore search and rescue vessel, maintaining radio communications at the base, assisting with fundraising or providing the support crew needed to keep the unit afloat.

We're always on the lookout for people from a range of backgrounds who have valuable technical, practical, administrative or life skills to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the unit, such as accounting, engineering, electrical, plumbing, marketing, teaching or communications knowledge.
